Infants
Researchers say that what babies see, smell, touch and taste causes brain connections to be made, especially if the experiences happen in a loving, consistent, predictable manner. At RKZ we pride ourselves on the fact that what babies do during their infant developmental phase will set the stage for all the years that follow. The Creative Curriculum for Infants and Toddlers is based on this research. This curriculum is one that our teachers use to help support and encourage your baby each day.
Each infant is on their own schedule for feeding and sleeping. An individual plan is developed by our trained professionals that offers stimulation for your child. The plan is updated each month as your child continues to mature, respond and develop.
The environment is designed to support and encourage all of the infants as they begin to explore the world around them. Group activities will include Bible and prayer time. Daily activities include sign language, exploring senses with paint, music, and story time.
Each infant is assigned a primary care giver who will nurture your precious baby while assuring that all needs are being met. Frequent meetings and conversations with your child’s teacher will inform you of daily activities and developmental milestones. Our open door policy and many opportunities for story reading, rocking, and sing alongs will help you as a parent be a part of your child’s day as your schedule permits!
